Hi All, I too grew up in the Flint, MIchigan area and was raised on Vernors and Coney Islands. I am a retired form the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and I have been all around the U.S.A. I can tell anyone within 250 miles of where they live, where they can buy Vernors and Diet Vernors. Currently, I have opened a Frozen Custard Shoppe that is opened all year around and we serve Vernors as a fountain soda drink. Thats right.... and I have done a lot research and we are one of very few places in the U.S. that serves this. Wanna know where we are..........We are located in the very heart of the U.S. in Effingham, IL at Exit 160 on the I-57 and I-70 interchange. So if you are going south of Chicago take I-57 and you cant miss us. If you are going I-70 to the western U.S. or East to the East Coast you will run right by us. We are located about 100 yards from the interstates and you wont believe what we have to offer our traveling guests who not only crave for Vernors but other deights that you can find in Chicago, Detroit, Milwaukee and New York City and the prices are real cheap....... Hopefully I can help some of you with where to find Vernors. It's on a store-by-store basis, but if the store you're in doesn't have it, they should be able to refer you to another local store that does. I've found it in: Delaware - select Superfresh stores (North Wilmington) and it seems to be gaining popularity in the area Pennsylvania - West Chester/Concord (near Philly) at a beer store on 202 (sorry, I'm blanking on the name) Arizona - Mesa, select stores (Topps) Missouri -Saint Louis and around Warrenton If someone could help me on which stores in Seattle carry Vernors, I'd greatly appreciate it. - Lea

You'd think in a city as large as Dallas [TX] with as many Michigan transplants, there would be Vernor's in every major grocery chain! We found it for awhile in Tom Thumb [in Duncanville], and some of the bigger Kroger stores carried it. Lately, though, rarely have only found cans. yuck! Guess I'll contact Frito-Lay. There's nothing that can hold a candle to Vernor's [or Faygo]. - Sandie Van Auken

I live in Carlsbad, Ca. and Vernor's is sold at Stater Brother's grocery stores. Ralph's and Von's don't carry it. Have seen in liquor stores occassionly. over the years , for use as a mixer. My favorite cooler, Vernor's and vanilla ice cream. better then a root beer float. - Violet

I, too, grew up in Michigan east of Ann Arbor and definitely grew up on the wonderful taste of Vernors! And like another writer here, have a wooden pop case which I have hauled from one end of the country to another! My Grandpa was very ill for the final years of his life and my Grandma made him what she called a "Bracer", which was half Vernors, half milk....and on special occasions, yes, the vanilla ice cream was added! He hated milk but the doctors insisted, so this was Grandma Win's way of getting it down in a delicious way. He also loved vanilla ice cream so that came out nightly with some good Smuckers or Sanders ice cream toppings! All these years later, we were thrilled to find Vernors in our local QFC now that we're living in WA. It has soothed many an aching tummy and fortified as well following knee and now today, oral, surgery! I'm so happy I took a chance and keyed in vernors.com! What a fun way to end a pretty grueling day! - Shari
