Just wanted to give everyone a heads up in the VA-DC-MD area that Kroger Grocery Stores in Richmond, VA stocks Vernors & Diet Vernors...not sure about outside Richmond, but if you have Krogers in your area, you may want to check &/or ask if they can carry it. Also, locally, Ukrop's grocery also stocks but its very expensive "$3.99 a 6 pack! Kroger is much, much cheaper. Good luck hunting everyone! - Ann
In the Atlanta metro area Vernor's Ginger soda can be purchased at the major grocery chains like Kroger and Publix. It typically is sold in 2-liter bottles or 12 ounce cans. Where to find the smaller screw top plastic bottles like Red Rock is sold in Food Depot is the big question for us. - Otis
please help me some one, I have just moved to Ga. (middle) one year ago. Imoved from Fl.Ilived there for 15 years. before that I lived in Michigan. I have only drank vernors my whole life. because of health problems. Ido not drink anything elise. Ilove it. But now I can not find it . What does one do.?On our trip back to Fl. two weeks ago we bought two cases. . but because of the cost of gas here. we can not go there . I collect old pop bottles and have an old vernors 1pt8oz bottle that is still un-opened. My question is, how do I tell how old it is. Is it something with the numbers stamped on the bottom of the bottle. Thanks for all of your help! - Josh

Today is October 3, 2007 My husband is close to death. He can not eat much. His eyes lit up when I mentioned Vernor's Ginger Ale.
