Why is there a shortage of Vernor's? The ONLY gingerale I will drink, and many people I know are the same. Schweppe's and the other one are horrible. When will it be available again? I'm from the Detroit area and moved to KCMO. Yes, since it was bought out, Vernors isn't the same, and certainly not that "aged in barrels" flavor it used to have, but it's still better than anything that tries to be like it, and the bubbles still make you sneeze! So lucky they have it at Price Chopper in KCMO, otherwise, I'd lose my mind! Don't forget about making a Boston Cooler (Vernors and vanilla ice cream) - absolutely the yummiest. The Vernors store on Woodward next to the plant had every possible milk product and Vernors mix, plus others, that you could think of and they were all spectacular! The only other item I'm dying for and can't be found it my area is Faygo Rock n Rye (or anything Faygo). Shipping is really expensive from the Vernors Store, so can't buy it from them <<sign>>. - cbb
