My Father (may God rest his soul) was a HUGE Vernor's fan. He purchased it by the case and us children were "forbidden" to take from his private stash. Growing up near Buffalo, NY, it was plenty available, but we were offered the Canada Dry Ginger Ale which was light and sweet. It's good, but Vernor's was the Holy Grail. Dad always made sure I was able to get a glassfull on those occassions when he had some himself. It made me feel special that he let ME have some Vernor's when my six brothers and sisters were drinking the other stuff. (Little did I know, we ALL were getting a little Vernor's if we wanted it.) Now I taste Vernor's and it brings back memories of Dad, those Holiday parties, those summer picinics and other special times. Thanks James Vernor. And thank you for keeping it going. - Jim

The homage you pay towards "Detroit's Drink" is explemporary! Vernor's has always been the benchmark by which ALL other gingerale's are to be compared. Even though it's a different soft drink, people can "talk" all they want about their beloved Coca-Cola but James Vernor and his company was doing it -20 Years- before Coke was even thought of!! Vernor's is owned by Cadbury-Schweppes out of Stamford, Connecticut and is distributed through the Pepsi Bottling Group (PBG) under license from Dr. Pepper/Seven-Up; Plano, Texas. That tingly, bubbly experience you get when you first have a sip is unmistakable. To set the record straight, the Vernor's icon is a "Gnome", not an elf or leprachaun, a spartan OR whatever! Have fun drinking and savoring the oldest soda pop ever made! Vernorsgnome - Lloyd

Amazon.COM now sells groceries. You can order Vernors online. It's a bit expensive though. - Robert

I live in MD but I have family in Ohio...I always get some Vernor's when I'm out that way...Unfortunately I don't see that happening anytime soon and I'm pregnant with major morning sickness....I'm hoping that the ginger will help....If not at least I'll have some Vernor's! Can anyone help me find a store or a way to order it? - Nikki Ray

I'm from traverse city mi, but have lived in park city ut for over six years. just wondering why vernors is more$ on your site than in my local (out of MI) grocery? Also shopping prices to have it on the gun in one of the best night club/live music venues in UT. Any response would be much appreciated. - corey
